Personal Data Protection Policy
Christian Communications Singapore (CCS) respects the privacy and recognises the importance of protecting personal data when handling information related to the following:
CCS is fully committed to implementing and complying with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as "the Act" https://sso.agc.gov.sg/Act/PDPA2012). This Personal Data Protection Policy ("Policy") outlines the procedures and systems CCS has put in place to comply with the requirements concerning personal data as defined under the Act.
Collection, Usage, and Disclosure of Personal Data
1. Collection
CCS collects your personal data in the following ways:
a. When you donate
b. When you subscribe to our newsletters and updates
c. When you register for and participate in our courses, events, activities or programmes
d. When you provide us with your details at events, activities and meetings
e. When you apply to be a volunteer
f. When you submit your resume for job applications
g. When you contact us for an enquiry
h. When you give us feedback
i. When you submit your personal data to us for any other reason
2. Usage
CCS may use your information for the following purposes:
a. To comply with any requirements by law
b. To fundraise and facilitate the collection and process of donations
c. To send newsletters which you have subscribed to
d. To contact you for programmes or activities which you have signed up for
e. To inform you updates about our events, activities or programmes
f. To respond to enquiries pertaining to our courses, events, activities or programmes
g. To respond to your job or volunteer application
h. Internal reporting and information sharing within CCS
i. To do data analysis
CCS may use your photographs for publicity purposes on our various platforms.
CCS will not use personal data for any purpose other than the original purpose for which it was collected. If CCS intends to use the personal data for a different purpose, it will obtain fresh consent before doing so.
3. Disclosure
CCS may disclose your data to third parties to facilitate our programmes and service delivery. We would work closely with such third parties and adopt appropriate security measures in collaboration with them to ensure that your data remains secure and confidential.
CCS may disclose your data for the following purposes:
a. If you have signed up for our events, activities or programmes, we may share your information with:
b. In the event of developing IT infrastructure, your data may be shared with the developers.
We may also share information with government agencies or other companies assisting us in fraud prevention or investigation. We may do so when: (1) permitted or required by law; or, (2) trying to protect against or prevent actual or potential fraud or unauthorised transactions; or, (3) investigating fraud which has already taken place.

Confidentiality
Any personal data collected by CCS shall be accessible only to CCS’s authorised employees, agents and contractors for the purpose for which the data was collected. They are required to strictly observe confidentiality at all times.
Retention of Personal Data
CCS will retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required or permitted by applicable laws. Once the data is no longer required for those purposes, CCS will securely dispose of or anonymise the data.
Withdrawal of Consent and Correction of your Personal Data
If you:
a. have any question or feedback relating to your Personal Data or our Data Protection Policy;
b. would like to withdraw your consent to any use of your Personal Data as set out in this Data Protection Policy; or
c. would like to obtain make corrections to your Personal Data records;
